ABSTRACT
Rigid endoscopic resection using a thick sheath (ViewSite) may be viable method for the or biopsy of selected deep-seated brain tumors, such as thalamic gliomas and malignant lymphomas. Neuroendoscopic is one technique used histological verification suspected tumors. There are number advantages to this technique. For example, under direct vision, it possible carefully observe tumor surface avoid vessels during resections. It also collect enough specimens pathological diagnosis. Eighteen consecutive patients safely underwent rigid (ViewSite). The two-handed that utilized mounted endoscope proved very useful safe, since enabled easy stanching hemorrhages. aim study was demonstrate how use intraventricular approach with provides an alternative medial improved visualization wider working space.
