ABSTRACT
Single layer (ZnO, ZnS and Al doped ZnO film), double (ZnO/Al film) triple films ZnO/ZnO ZnO/Al ZnO/ZnS were deposited on sodalime glass substrate by electroless process. Wet thin dried in air subsequently annealed a muffle furnace atmosphere at 500°C for 2 h. Significant characteristics of the films, such as crystallinity, surface roughness, well optical properties large spectral range between 300 800 nm analysed. Average grain size was found 40–90 nm. The obtained sample film exhibits best, optimum characteristics, i.e. intermediate absorbance spectra, lowest value photoluminescence intensity, has minimum recombination electron–hole pairs. Triple is suitable place CdS/Al multilayer transparent dye-sensitised solar cell.
