ABSTRACT
Aim: To assess patients' and parents' perspectives on the impact of infliximab treatment daily life acceptability feasibility (infliximab or adalimumab) home treatment, in light perceived value hospital services. Methods: A descriptive qualitative study was conducted at University College Hospital London. Data were collected via 25 semi-structured interviews with patients (aged 14-19) from both gastroenterology rheumatology specialties, prescribed infliximab, their parents. Results: The majority participants preferred to continue current hospital, rather than be treated local home. main reasons specialised care continuity staff, resistance method adalimumab administration expected problems compliance. services highly valued considered have either no family school life, improved it.
