There is limited knowledge on the prevalence of disease in total populations. Such studies have historically been difficult to conduct but development health data registers has facilitated large-scale recorded diagnoses entire regions. The aim this study was analyze diagnosis six common diseases Swedish capital region.The population included all living persons who resided Stockholm County, Sweden, December 31st 2011 (N=2 093 717). Prevalence defined as proportion individuals with a diabetes, depression, anxiety disorders, hypertension, asthma chronic obstructive pulmonary during five year period, respectively. Analyses were done by age gender.Hypertension had highest five-year (12.2%), followed depression (6.6%), diabetes mellitus (6.2%), (5.9%), disorders/phobia (4.8%), COPD (1.8%). Diabetes more men (5.3% women 7.1% men) while (8.7% 4.4% (6.3% 3.4% considerably women. Smaller gender differences also found for hypertension (13.0% 11.4% men), (6.4% 5.4% (2.1% 1.6% men). Diabetes, increased markedly age, whereas anxiety, fairly constant above 18 years.
