ABSTRACT
We report on the observation of helicity-dependent photoresponse 20-μm-thick silver–palladium (Ag/Pd) nanocomposite films. In experiment, 120 fs pulses Ti:S laser induced in film an electric current perpendicular to incidence plane. The photoinduced is a linear function incident beam power, and its sign depends polarization angle incidence. particular, zero for p- s-polarized beams, while opposite right- left-circularly polarized beams. By comparing experimental results with theoretical analysis, we show that Ag/Pd originates from photon drag effect.
