ABSTRACT
The current large spectrum of sheep phenotypic diversity results from the combined product selection for different production traits such as wool, milk and meat, its natural adaptation to new environments. In this study, we scanned genome 25 Sasi Ardi 75 Latxa Western Pyrenees three types regions under selection: (1) underlying local semi-feral sheep, (2) related a long traditional dairy pressure in (3) experiencing specific effect modern genetic improvement program established breed during last decades. Thirty-two selected candidate including 147 annotated genes were detected by using statistical parameters: pooled heterozygosity H, Tajima's D, Wright's fixation index Fst. For chromosomes Ovis aries (OAR)4, 6, 22 showed strongest signals harbored several energy metabolism morphology (BBS9, ELOVL3 LDB1), immunity (NFKB2), reproduction (H2AFZ). major genomic difference between was on OAR6, which is known affect production, with highly around ABCG2, SPP1, LAP3, NCAPG, LCORL, MEPE sheep. also evident OAR15, olfactory are located.
