ABSTRACT
Proteins play essential roles in almost all life processes. The prediction of protein function is significance for the understanding molecular and evolution. Network alignment provides a fast effective framework to automatically identify functionally conserved proteins systematic way. However, due growing genomic data, interactions annotation there an increasing demand more accurate efficient tools deal with multiple PPI networks. Here, we present novel global algorithm NetCoffee2 based on graph feature vectors discover predict unknown proteins. To test performance, three other notable algorithms were applied eight real biological datasets. Functional analyses performed evaluate quality these alignments. Results show that superior existing IsoRankN, NetCoffee multiMAGNA++ terms both coverage consistency. binary source code are freely available under GNU GPL v3 license at https://github.com/screamer/NetCoffee2.
