ABSTRACT
Containing the largest number of species, orchid family provides not only materials for studying plant evolution and environmental adaptation, but economically culturally important ornamental plants human society. Previously, we collected genome transcriptome information Dendrobium catenatum, Phalaenopsis equestris, Apostasia shenzhenica which belong to two different subfamilies Orchidaceae, developed user-friendly tools explore genetic sequences in OrchidBase 4.0. The 4.0 offers opportunity science community compare genomes transcriptomes retrieve further study. In year 2022, whole-genome Orchidoideae Platanthera zijinensis guangdongensis, were de novo sequenced, assembled analyzed. In addition, systemic from these species also established. Therefore, included datasets develop new version 5.0. three functions including synteny, gene order, miRNA comparisons characterization.OrchidBase 5.0 extended (including five species) provided researchers analyze transcriptomes. online resources can be accessed at https://cosbi.ee.ncku.edu.tw/orchidbase5/.
