The effects of a treatment combination of anti-VEGF injections, laser coagulation and cryotherapy on patients with type 3 Coat’s disease

To examined the curative effect of vitreous injection with ranibizumab,laser coagulation and cryotherapy in treating stage 3 Coats' disease exudative retinal detachment.Seventeen patients were enrolled study. All eyes treated ranibizumab as initial treatment, subsequent treatment depended on absorption subretinal fluid, Including laser photocoagulation. Repeat for two intervals occurred ≥1 month. The mean follow-up time was 24.12 ± 5.99 months. main data evaluation outcome measurements included patient's vision, intraocular pressure(IOP), optical coherence tomography (OCT), slit lamp examination, indirect ophthalmoscopy, color Doppler imaging (CDI) fundus image analysis. following variables compared between groups: abnormal vascular changes, fluid exudate absorption, reattachment complications. final results used to determine effectiveness treatment.Of 17 included, 88.24% male 11.76% female. Visual acuity less than 0.02 12 before surgery 8 after surgery. improved 7 eyes, accounting 41.18% cases, remained unchanged cases. Three too young undergo operation, 17.65% best vision 0.1.
