ABSTRACT
There have been no studies concerning the complications or benefits of cholecystectomy in ovarian cancer. In this study, we aimed to evaluate outcomes performed during various time periods disease course and suggest a management strategy for cancer.We retrospectively reviewed medical records patients with advanced cancer who underwent cytoreductive surgery from 2009 2020. Cholecystectomy was primarily indicated when gallbladder surrounding structures were considered metastatic tumor invasion. If final pathologic results showed free malignant tumor, placed into no-infiltration group. Clinical including recurrence rate analyzed.A total 62 cholecystectomy, 48 whom (77.4%) primary interval debulking surgery, whereas 14 (22.6%) follow-up period (five benign 9 recurrence). Among patients, 32 (51.6%) included group pathology. observed (n = 32). Seven (78%) nine received had porta-hepatis lesser sac at surgery.
