Oral health promotion: a qualitative study to explore perspectives of kindergarten nurses at Qatar

ABSTRACT
The oral health of preschool children remains a concern globally. Kindergarten and school nurses can improve by reducing the incidence Early Childhood Caries (ECC) among children. This study aimed to explore perceptions kindergarten about proposed promotion program be implemented in primary centres kindergartens. qualitative research used in-depth interviews 12 who were audio-recorded transcribed verbatim. Qualitative data analysis software was (NVivo9 MANUF). Four major themes emerged analysed contextual patterns within data. included participants acknowledged high prevalence caries identified several causes local context, including parental practices, poor dietary habits, impact cultural lack knowledge limitations healthcare system.
