ABSTRACT
Osteoarthritis is a common disease and one of the most important causes disability in elderly that negatively affect quality their life. The purpose this study was to evaluate effectiveness mobile app-based-instruction improving physical performance female patients with knee osteoarthritis.The present randomized clinical trial. sample included 64 (40 70 years old) osteoarthritis Bojnurd city 2018. They were selected from available randomly divided into comparison intervention groups. Before intervention, demographic information questionnaire, Western Ontario McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) 36-item short-form health survey (SF-36) employed elicit data on information, arthritis condition status participants. Intervention lasted for period two months each group. group received mobile-app-based instruction coupled routine cares, while just cares. After both groups evaluated again terms using same scales.After significant differences found between overall WOMAC score (p = 0.005), pain aspect function SF-36 ≤ 0.05), vitality > 0.05).The use can enhance life osteoarthritis. Trial registration research project registered at Iranian Registry Clinical Trials (IRCT20161208031300N2).
