ABSTRACT
To estimate the incidence, prevalence and incidence-based mortality in patients with gynecologic sarcoma (GS), described trends of survival initial treatments US by using Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) database.GS cases aged 20 years or older between 1975 2015 were identified from SEER 9 registries. Incidence, prevalence, estimated, all rates age adjusted to 2000 standard population presented as per 100,000 persons. Annual percentage change (APC) average APC (AAPC) calculated describe trends. In addition, stage distribution, cancer-specific (CSS) treatment pattern over time also reported. The overall age-adjusted incidence GS increased 2.38 3.41 persons 2015, an AAPC 1.0 (P < 0.05), 1.3 0.05) last decade. The ≥ 55 was three more times than that 20-54 year 2015. Corpus uterus main subtype, it significantly during decades (an 1.5). corpus mostly among GSs. regional distant stages pronouncedly, but not for local stage. showed increasing 3-year 5-year CSS except other sites GS. Approximately 87.7% received surgery first-course treatment, proportion decreased years. contrast, receiving multiple modalities increased. The improved survival, which might due strategy combination treatment. However, no obvious improvement on early detection found, should be facilitated further improve prognosis
