ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) is one of the main mechanisms spinal cord injury (SCI) pathology and can affect physiological state neurons. Icariin (ICA), pharmacological component Epimedium, relieve symptoms patients with SCI has obvious protective effects on neurons through ERS. Methods PC12 cells were induced to differentiate into by nerve growth factor identified flow cytometry. Cell proliferation was detected CCK8 method, cell viability SRB assay, apoptosis cytometry microstructure ER observed transmission electron microscope. Western blot used detect protein expression CHOP Grp78, qPCR mRNA Grp78. Results The results CCK8, showed that ICA could ERS reduce cells. microscope caused q-PCR inhibit down-regulating Conclusions promote repair potential recovery injury.
