ABSTRACT
Thrombolytic treatment for acute ischaemic stroke improves prognosis, although there is a risk of bleeding complications leading to early death/severe disability. Benefit from thrombolysis time dependent and must be administered within 4.5 hours onset symptoms, which presents unique challenges development tools support decision making patient understanding about treatment. Our aim was develop aid patient-specific clinical decision-making stroke, communication personalised information on benefits/risks by clinicians patients/relatives.
