ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Evidence-based practise is a method by which healthcare professionals integrate the best available evidence, individual expertise and patient preferences to improve safety utilise quality healthcare. No study was conducted in Ethiopia assess nurses’ perception of hospitals’ culture readiness for evidence-based practice integration into hospital’s system. Hence, this aimed nurses on systems Western Ethiopia. Methods A cross-sectional involving 412 six hospitals western between December 2022 February 2023. 25-item Organisational Culture Readiness System-Wide Integration EBP scale used, with Cronbach’s alpha 0.94. While 25 minimum score, 125 maximum; higher scores indicate better hospital system-wide practice. self-administered data collection technique used. Descriptive statistics were computed using Statistical Package Social Sciences version software. Results Four hundred twelve participated study. The majority (85.9%) bachelor’s degree holders over third (34.7%) worked primary hospitals. Only quarter (26.5%) had ever received mentorship from their leader implementing overall score among 70.3 ± 17.3. Conclusion equivocal. There need engage all resources increase leadership commitment make culture. Further research warranted understand national status establishing sustaining
