ABSTRACT
In schizophrenia, executive dysfunction is the most critical cognitive impairment, and associated with abnormal neural activities, especially in frontal lobes. Complexity estimation using electroencephalogram (EEG) recording based on nonlinear dynamics task performance tests have been widely used to estimate schizophrenia. The present study estimated cool function fractal dimension (FD) values of EEG data recorded from first-episode schizophrenia patients healthy controls during three tasks, namely, Trail Making Test-A (TMT-A), Test-B (TMT-B), Tower Hanoi tasks. results show that complexity signals were measured FD was different manipulation function. However, no differences between found task. These suggest exhibits little impairment patients.
