Re-irradiation in lung disease by SBRT: a retrospective, single institutional study

ABSTRACT
The loco regional relapse is frequent in the lung disease. aim of this study was to evaluate outcomes re-irradiation by SBRT terms Local Control (LC) and toxicities. From April 2011 December 2016, twenty-two patients received a SBRT. Twenty- seven lesions were treated. medium BED(10) 100.6 Gy (range: 48–151.2 Gy) EQD2(10) 93.8 40–126 Gy). In previous treatment 97.2 40–120 Gy), 81 32.5–100 median time between first second 18 months. reached out 27 (66%) re-irradiated lesions, with rates 67 54% at 1- year 2- years respectively. well tolerated; maximum recorded toxicity Grade 3. Re- irradiation may represent an option for disease good results LC toxicity.
