ABSTRACT
Abstract Background Sun’s procedure is currently recognized as the standard for acute type A aortic dissection (AAAD). But operation istoo difficult beginners. We hope to reduce difficulty and complications of this operation. Methods The arch was immediately cross-clamped after stented graft inserted into distal aorta. Thereafter, lower-body perfusion restored. Then, anastomosis performed between proximal stent 4-branched Dacron graft. other arteries were anastomosed arched branch Results cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) time (207 ± 52) min, cross-clamp (114 39) min. circulatory arrest (38 16) sec. One patient (4%) died. incidence stroke (4%), renal dysfunction requiring dialysis prolonged intubation(12%). Conclusions in less than 1 which can avoid caused by DHCA decrease risk bleeding complexity shifting more proximally. effect our similar even better that procedure. It does not require relatively advanced skill, much experience excellent psychological quality, especially suitable
