ABSTRACT
Abstract To study the influence of polypropylene fibers with different thicknesses on concrete beams, inclined section shear tests fiber beams were carried out. The cracking load, ultimate midspan deflection, reinforcement, and strain conventional reinforced-concrete under compared analyzed. load-bearing capacity rectangular was improved significantly by addition. Compared limit load multisize that reinforced three types increased 8.67% 17.07%, respectively. By mixing into initial crack force beam improved, number cracks width reduced, which can increase ductility, inhibit formation strength. computational formula bearing fiber–concrete revised according to composite material theory, calculated results consistent test values.
