ABSTRACT
In this study, the purpose was to examine impact of time management on college students' study engagement and determine mechanisms involved. Consequently, we examined relationship between in as well self-control mobile phone dependence. The Adolescence Time Management Disposition Scale (ATMD), College Student Mobile Phone Dependence Questionnaire (CSMPDQ), Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-student (UWES-S), Self-Control (SCS) were administered 1016 students. A Pearson's correlation analysis a mediation using bootstrapping performed order test for standard method bias SPSS 22.0. ①Time positively associated with engagement, negatively dependence (p <.001). <.01). ②Time can not only directly predict (95%CI, 0.102 - 0.208) but also affects through three indirect paths: mediator 0.066 0.158), 0.043 0.109), chain 0.012 0.032). influences directly, mediating effect indirectly.
