ABSTRACT
Abstract A 71-year-old woman was referred to our institution for further investigation of epigastric pain. The patient had been detected have a multilocular cyst in the medial segment liver measuring 69 mm diameter at another hospital 2 years ago, and increased 90 mm. Although gradually size, there no evidence mural nodules. As we were concerned about malignant potential lesion, left hepatic segmentectomy performed. Pathologically, lined by columnar cuboidal epithelium with low-grade atypia. covered an ovarian-like stroma, diagnosis mucinous cystic neoplasm (MCN-L) intraepithelial neoplasia. MCN-L is rare disease its characteristics are still poorly understood. occurs lower frequency as compared counterpart MCN pancreas, investigations necessary clarify biological malignancy MCN-L.
