ABSTRACT
Abstract Background The nasal bone is the most protruding bony structure of facial bones. Nasal fracture common fracture. high rate incidence emphasizes need for systematical investigation epidemiology, surgical techniques, and complications after surgery. objective this study to investigate current trends in treatment fractures effectiveness closed reduction depending on severity Patients methods A total 179 patients with a from 2009 2017 were enrolled. Their clinical examination, patient’s records, radiographic images evaluated. Results ranged children elderly. There 156 (87.2%) males 23 (12.8%) females. Traffic accident (36.9%) was cause Orbit (44 patients, 24.6%) associated Complications surgery included postoperative deformity 20 (11.2%) obstruction 11 (6.1%) olfactory disturbances 2 (1.1%) more severe had higher rates these complications. Conclusion Closed could be performed successfully within weeks injury.
