ABSTRACT
Summary In this study, a staggered grid finite-difference code is applied to simulate the three-dimensional frequency-domain electromagnetic responses of horizontal electric dipole above rough seafloor. Based on simple layered reservoir and ramp models, we compare results with previous analytical solution finite-element results, verify accuracy validity simulation algorithm, show efficiency divergence correction.
