However, large-scale surveys dense shot spacing are financially challenging. Therefore, velocity were proposed as an economic solution exploration purpose. Such survey has been examined on synthetic model building in salt environment settings. More recently, it further studied real example from the Atlantis field by controlled decimation of sampling. These results validate feasibility surveys, but show deterioration quality FWI models, which can cause noticeable damage corresponding image, due weak stacking power low trace density at certain level, especially models where S/N poorer. In this paper, we incorporate structural total variation (TV) regularization into Time-lag improve frequency output surveys. Tests two datasets demonstrate that our approach effectively suppresses migration artifacts noise while preserving conformity model, turn leads improved images.Note: This paper was accepted not presented 2020 SEG Annual Meeting. Keywords: inversion, ocean-bottom node, sparse, imaging, noisePermalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2020-3427891.1FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited byImaging geology Central Basin Platform land FWIDongren Bai, Lin Zheng, Wubing Deng1 September 2021Exploring potential nodes western Gulf MexicoFeng Lin, Dorothy Ren, Mei, Xue, Joakim Blanch, Marcus Cahoj, Jon Jarvis, Alex Kostin1 2021Shenzi OBN: An imaging step changeCheryl Mifflin, Drew Eddy, Brad Wray, Nicolas Chazalnoel, Huang3 May 2021 | The Leading Edge, Vol. 40, No. 5 2020ISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: Pages: 3887 publication data© Published electronic format permission Society Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society Geophysicists HistoryPublished Online: 30 Sep CITATION INFORMATION Zhang, Huang, Wang, (2020), "Full-waveform data," : 686-690. https://doi.org/10.1190/segam2020-3427891.1 Plain-Language Summary Keywordsfull-waveform inversionocean-bottom nodesparseimagingnoisePDF DownloadLoading ...
