ABSTRACT
e15582 Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the prevalence HPV16 infection and distribution p53 codon72 polymorphism with cervical cancer precursor lesions correlate these risk in Chinese population Hubei, China. Methods: A total 104 patients squamous-cell carcinoma (SCC) 52 intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) II-III 88 Patients CIN I were obtained from women undergoing biopsy or surgery. examined by PCR. Results: 78.5% SCC group, 44.2% CINII- III group 16.7% group. There significantly association between positivity progression (Spearman R=0.550, P=0.001). percentages Arg/Arg, Pro/Arg Pro/Pro genotypes 38.5%, 44.2%, 17.3%, 52.4%, 40.5%, 7.1%, respectively. RR (risk ratio) genotype 3.300 (95% CI=1.192-9.136) compared Arg/Arg genotype. frequencies not statistically different those distributions Arg/Pro, 32.8%, 57.1%, 14.2% infected group; 27.1%, 47.8%, 30.4% 28.6%, 17.3% each other three groups (P=0.517). frequency negative (50%) that positive (P=0.210). Conclusions: one highest factors precancerous lesion Hubei areas.
