ABSTRACT
e18095 Background: The incidence of thyroid cancer is increasing worldwide, especially in high income countries. A large proportion such an increase attributed to the phenomenon over-diagnosis. It occurs when a disease which would have otherwise not caused any symptoms or death diagnosed. In countries where over-diagnosis reported, majority these diagnoses young and middle-aged women (age < 60 years). Developing regions may be immune cancers.
