Recent literature suggests that individuals these areas may encounter health disparities, potentially leading to higher mortality from colorectal cancer (CRC) when compared their urban counterparts. The PREEMPT CRC is a prospective, multicenter clinical study designed validate an investigational blood test (MyTectCRC) intended provide convenient and accessible option for screening. included decentralized trial (DCT) site broaden enrollment wider range geographical areas, including traditionally underrepresented regions. This analysis evaluates demographic characteristics participants enrolled two distinct strategies within DCT sites. Methods: Eligibility criteria have been previously described (NCT04369053). All activities occurred under one ‘Metasite’, enabled by multichannel recruitment strategy 1) Direct-to-Participant (DTP) via digital 2) Site-Based (SB) partners who supported principal investigator identifying scheduled receive screening colonoscopy. Participant zip codes were mapped local counties aligned with either Metropolitan (Urban) or non-Metropolitan (Rural) counties. Enrolled analyzed demographics lifestyle behaviors such as tobacco, alcohol, drug use. Results: 12,137 participants, where 7,634 used DTP 4,503 SB. Of all 24.4% resided DTP's (27.8%) was double SB (13.5%). female male distribution similar across groups. A larger percentage races overall areas; however, there some noticeable trends population. For reported race, 12.5% Black 1.2% Asian, 9.6% 1.2%, respectively, ethnicity, DTP, 5.1% identified Hispanic/Latinx, 14.3% Hispanic/Latinx Lifestyle behavior factors between Conclusions: Through use DCT, reached especially through methodology. Furthermore, versus showed certain shifts demographics, differences highlight effectiveness targeted outreach reflect importance integration multiple methods tools enhance essential locations.
