ABSTRACT
In Brief The LMA-CTrach™ combines the features of Intubating Laryngeal Mask Airway™ with a fiberoptic system and screen for visualization airway. Local pathology, such as lingual tonsillar hyperplasia, may obstruct view airway leading to unanticipated difficult intubation. We present two cases failed intubation LMA-CTrach in patients hyperplasia. both cases, maintained adequate ventilation, giving time prepare alternative strategies. IMPLICATIONS: LMA CTrach™ is new management device viewer that has proven useful ventilation airways. interfere larynx passage endotracheal tube.
