ABSTRACT
Lifetime determinations for eleven levels in La II and two III have been performed using time-resolved laser spectroscopy. Free La+ La++ ions were produced a laser-induced plasma selective excitation was obtained with narrow-bandwidth, 1 ns duration tunable pulses. values evaluated from the fluorescence signals recorded by fast detection system. The data are believed to be first ones doubly charged lanthanide ion results compared previous measurements other authors.
