ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND The protein 4.1 family is a of cytoskeletal proteins that play an important role in maintaining normal cell morphology and adhesion, migration, division, intercellular signaling. main aim this study was to explore the prognostic significance breast cancer (BC) patients provide new biomarkers therapeutic targets for diagnosis treatment BC. MATERIAL AND METHODS expression members various tumor types compared controls using ONCOMINE GOBO databases. BC determined by Kaplan-Meier Plotter. RESULTS EPB41L2 (4.1G) expressed at higher levels tissues with all members. In survival analysis, 4.1G EPB41 (4.1R) mRNA high expressions were associated better patients. Moreover, significantly longer overall (OS) luminal A protracted relapse-free (RFS) B subtype who received Tamoxifen treatment. addition, each member also showed value different molecular subtypes CONCLUSIONS These results indicate can be regarded as novel potential Further research needed detailed biological functions.
