ABSTRACT
The main objective of this study was to explore the impact hearing impairment on psychological distress and subjective well-being in older adults with impairment.The cross sectional research design conducted three public sector hospitals Lahore, from February 2017 June 2017. Participants were aged 50-90 years impairment, selected through non-probability sampling technique. Demographic Information sheet, Kessler scale by Kessler, Mroczek. 1992 Satisfaction life Diener, Emmons, Larsen, Griffin 1985 used for data collection. SPSS 21 analyze data.There 200 participants age ranged 53 89 (M= 65.92, SD= 9.70). Of total, 100 (50%) subjects men women. Significant gender differences found distress, reflecting more symptoms (p<0.01), whereas non-significant case (p>0.05). Moreover, observed as a predictor (p<0.01). One-way analysis variance revealed insignificant across levels impairment.Early diagnosis rehabilitation age-related loss improves overall quality living impairment.
