<ns4:p>Pulmonary exacerbations are common events in cystic fibrosis and have a profound impact on quality of life, morbidity, mortality. Pulmonary exacerbation outcomes remain poor significant proportion patients fail to recover their baseline lung function despite receiving aggressive treatment with intravenous antibiotics. This focused review provides an update some the recent advances that taken place our understanding epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, management pulmonary as well direction for future study.</ns4:p>
