ABSTRACT
<ns4:p>Ultrasonic vocalisation is a broadly used proxy to evaluate social communication in mouse models of neuropsychiatric disorders. The efficacy and robustness testing these suffer from limited knowledge the structure functions vocalisations as well way analyse data. We created <ns4:italic>mouseTube</ns4:italic>, an open database with web interface, facilitate sharing comparison ultrasonic data metadata attached recording file. Metadata describe 1) acquisition procedure, <ns4:italic>e.g</ns4:italic>., hardware, software, sampling frequency, bit depth; 2) biological protocol elicit vocalisations; 3) characteristics individual emitting (<ns4:italic>e.g.</ns4:italic>, strain, sex, age). To promote science enable reproducibility, are made freely available. website provides searching retrieval files interest. It designed comparisons emission between strains, protocols or laboratories, test different analysis algorithms search for established vocalisations. Over long term, users will be able download compare results each Such application boost on stimulate automatic methods refine phenotyping techniques disorders.</ns4:p>
