ABSTRACT
Outdoor dust as a pollutant is also transit environment for different pollutants emphasizing heavy metals. Commonly, it urban population, who exposed to the maximal adverse impact of and associated pollutants. In most cases, atmosphere researches are implemented on few permanent monitoring stations. Data obtained from these stations cannot be sufficient enough provide real picture atmospheric pollution. The detailed information synchronous instrumental sampling (aspiration) studies indicator environments (snow cover, leaves). This research pursued assessment levels metal pollution near-surface air through methods example city Yerevan (Armenia). area comprises complex mosaic natural man-made sources So, many years has been high metals levels. was in 2011 2012 included spatially coherent snow tree leaf sampling, allowed assessing load contents entire territory Yerevan, identifying sources, contouring ecologically unfavorable sites finally risk groups among population.
