ABSTRACT
The study of 199 (26 to 45 years) women Latvia was undertaken the anthropometric predictors blood pressure between age groups. data were collected in years 2001–2005. divided into two agegroups: I (26–35 and II (36–45 for making even sample analysis. Anthropometric variables each woman including height, weight, waist hip circumferences (WC, HC), (BP) measured. Mean arterial (MBP), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), waist-to-height (WHtR) body mass index (BMI) also calculated through standard equation. relationships different determined both mean participants 35.18±2.85. mean±SD systolic pressures 124.25±12.81 131.52±17.04 mmHg while diastolic 82.78±9.78 88.71±12.44 values increased with age. In this measurements such as indicated a strong positive relation Waist-to-hip (WHR) not significant predictor at 26–35 years. According study, selected measures pressures. Therefore, it is important that early pressure, some indices become routine health services order prevent conditions or risk factors diseases.
