ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence and severity subjective daytime functioning impairment among people with insomnia complaints. Another goal establish its relationships age, gender, type duration insomnia.Study group consisted NATPOL participants - 2,413 (1,245 women 1,168 men) aged 18-79. We extracted declared complaints, consisting 1,221 (736 485 Data on symptoms characteristics, their were further analyzed.Functioning by 825 (67.7% those who insomnia) it more common in women. It most complaints lasting over two weeks 72.4%. In less than or for a few days 70.7% 64.9% respectively. People accounted 20% severe impairment. For shorter 8.6% 6.9% Among mild impairment, persons predominant 32.5% 35.3% 18-24 years (66.66%).Subjective is declaring symptoms. intensity are greater longer sleep problems. Its not correlated age mildest 18-24.
