Introduction and purpose:
 Prostate cancer is a common malignancy seen worldwide second most among Polish men as well globally. The symptoms of prostate depend on severity the cancer. diagnosis typically established through physical examination- digital rectal examination (DRE), PSA (prostate specific antigen) testing confirmed by histopathological examination. choice treatment method depends many factors: disease severity, risk assessment (based PSA, TNM Gleason score), age patient expected survival time. Treatment include surgery, hormone therapy, radiation therapy or chemotherapy. In some cases, combination methods can be used to achieve better outcomes. 
 One available option radical prostatectomy which includes open (ORP), laparoscopic robot assisted (RARP). We aimed at presenting various outcomes comparing prostatectomy.
 State knowledge: order carry out review topic we began collect information comprehensive research in PubMed database. analysis focused especially methods, course surgical procedure, postoperative care, oncological results, intraoperative complications.
 Conclusion:
 ORP RARP ae two procedures treatment. Both them involve removal gland but also have multiplicity differences. safe less invasive alternative with shorter hospitalization. However, known for no necessity expensive specialized equipment such Da Vinci Versius surgery system operative
