RESUMEN A finales de 1776 Carlos III pone en marcha un proyecto cuyo objetivo fue la creacion una coleccion maquetas las ciudades fortificadas mas importantes del Reino. El promotor dicho sera su ministro Guerra, el Conde Ricla, quien contara para puesta y desarrollo con reconocido cuerpo ingenieros militares, a cabeza cual se situara ingeniero arquitecto italiano Francisco Sabatini. Aunque inicialmente nace mucha fuerza, tan solo llega realizarse maqueta ciudad Cadiz, finalizada 1779.
