ABSTRACT
The cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death in Jordan and many other countries. etiology CVD multifactorial. Dietary factors play significant roles initiation, prevention treatment diseases. aim this study to estimate daily intake nutrients associated with developing among Jordanians, based on Department Statistics household budget survey “JHEIS 2010”, detect any changes these intakes comparison previous JHEIS survey. data 2010 were analyzed for purpose estimating quantity nutrient different governorates country. results showed that energy whole country (the Kingdom) was 3325 kcal/day. (as % energy) total, saturated, polyunsaturated, monounsaturated, trans, omega-3 omega-6 fats 26.6, 6.5, 8.5, 8, 0.2, 0.21 2.2%, respectively. fiber 7.2 g/1000 kcal.
