Behavioral, Emotional Problems and Fatigue in Adolescents After COVID-19 Infection: A Cross-Sectional Study

ABSTRACT
Objective: This study aimed to investigate behavioral, emotional problems and fatigue in adolescents after COVID-19 infection. Also, we examined relationships between baseline inflammation levels, fatigue, the current behavioral of adolescents. Material Methods: A total 110 (56 boys, 50.9%, mean age 14.72 years) their parents were included study. Psychiatric assessments performed 7.31±2.35 months discharge from hospital. Behavioral was assessed using Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) 6-18 parent-rated questionnaire. Results: We collected inflammatory markers including C-reactive protein (CRP), neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), monocyte/lymphocyte (MLR), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII). The proportions that clinical range at least one domain as follows: 44.5% entire sample, 35.7% 53.7% girls. Thought most common sample (25.5%). rates internalizing externalizing symptoms 33.6% 16.4%, respectively. Somatic attention more frequent females than males. Inflammatory marker levels did not correlate with scores. Fatigue determined 36.4% all found somatic are fatigued Conclusion: Our findings demonstrated screening for problems, infection is necessary. Future studies a follow-up design needed determine whether relationship exists
