ABSTRACT
Despite the clear benefits of negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) as a treatment for wounds, it is essential that greater focus given to patient experience this treatment. In particular, important any unpleasant consequences, such pain, stress, and skin trauma are minimised, so promote quality life healing. This article presents part two three studies which aim explore ways in NPWT can be improved. study, views care clinicians (n=12) were investigated depth through semi-structured interviews. Findings indicate pressing need minimise particularly ongoing assessment collaboration with patients, also use appropriate dressings, films other products comfort. Additionally, evident education needed both nurses patients about NPWT, order high-quality wellbeing.
