ABSTRACT
Objective: Tonsillectomy, cryptolysis of the tonsils and removal various formations in pharynx are most common elective operations otorhinolaryngology. Pain early postoperative period is still complication these procedures, which can adversely affect patient's daily life. Considering potential analgesic anti-inflammatory effect essential oil preparations, as well their ability to be easily applied locally affected mucosal surface, it worth considering use reduce pain dysphagia upper respiratory tract. Results: The study involved 77 patients who were randomly divided into 2 groups: taking a medical device containing combined natural oils (CDNEO) placebo. In course study, questionnaire was used, according interviewed immediately after operation, then on 3rd 10th days. results showed that drug does not directly pharynx, but from group with based oils, had lesser frequency non-steroidal drugs (NSAIDs) than placebo group, what indirectly proves effectiveness oils.
