ABSTRACT
Worldwide growth in hydrocarbon and energy demand is driving the oil gas companies to drill more wells complex situations such as areas with high-pressure, high-temperature conditions. As a result, recent years number of these conditions have been increased significantly. Wellbore instability one main issues during drilling operation especially for directional horizontal wells. Many researchers studied wellbore stability developed mathematical models mitigate problems before operation. In this work, fully coupled thermoporoelastic model study well The results show that performance highly dependent on truly evaluated rock mechanical properties. It noted properties should be at elevated pressures temperatures. However, many works, skipped properties, which are room conditions, entered into model. Therefore, an accurate analysis achieved by measuring temperatures, difference between outputs significant.
