ABSTRACT
This paper investigates the flexural stiffness of simply supported steel-concrete composite I-beams under positive bending moment through combined experimental, numerical, and different standard methods. 14 beams are tested for experimental study parameters including shear connection degree, transverse longitudinal reinforcement ratios, loading way also investigated. ABAQUS is employed to establish finite element (FE) models simulate behavior beams. The influences a few key parameters, such as stud arrangement, diameter, beam length, way, on studied by parametric study. In addition, three widely used methods GB, AISC, British standards estimate results compared with numerical results. findings have provided comprehensive understanding modelling indicate that GB 50017-2003 could provide better in comparison other standards.
