ABSTRACT
A MOM-based algorithm (MOMA) has been developed for moving force identification from dynamic responses of bridge in the companion paper. This paper further evaluates and investigates properties MOMA by experiment laboratory. simply supported model a few vehicle models were designed constructed series experiments have then conducted identification. The bending moment acceleration at several measurement stations are simultaneously measured when moves across deck different speeds. In order to compare with existing time domain method (TDM), best date, carefully comparative study scheme was planned conducted, which includes considering effect main parameters, such as basis function terms, mode number involved calculation, stations, executive CPU time, Nyquist fraction digital filter, two solutions ill-posed system equation It observed that many good same TDM, but its execution is just less than one tenth indicates an achievement can be used directly real-time analysis field.
