ABSTRACT
Between June 2001 and November 2008 a modified Dunn osteotomy with surgical hip dislocation was performed in 30 hips 28 patients slipped capital femoral epiphysis. Complications clinical radiological outcomes after mean follow-up of 3.8 years (1.0 to 8.5) were documented. Subjective outcome assessed using the Harris score Western Ontario McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index questionnaire. Anatomical or near-anatomical reduction achieved all cases. The epiphysis one showed no perfusion intra-operatively developed avascular necrosis. There an excellent hips.
