ABSTRACT

Biodiversitas 23: 5267-5277. worsening problems have become a serious concern prompting humanity to search for solutions aiming management through understanding the relationship between human-environmental with belief that humans are prime contributor both - problem solution. By acknowledging this existing situation, study was designed assess student’s level environment effects variables on their ecological behavior. A sequential strategy under mixed-method research used in study. survey questionnaire containing qualitative quantitative questions distributed answered by respondents, followed focus group discussion solidified substantiated result. Analysis responses demonstrated students’ attitudes were uncertain connoted they intermediate all observed be connected Further, it revealed anthropocentric dominant among students. This attitude, together human dominance over nature, denoted correlation along conservation policies, threats support population growth while eco-centric do not correlate In conclusion, limited ambiguous knowledge rule nature need reinforcement them develop good quality viewpoint about willingly advocate protection actions.
