ABSTRACT
Peppers are a high Cd-enriched vegetable. On the basis of preliminary screening experiment 91 pepper varieties and soil culture experiments during entire growth period 26 varieties, Cd variety (X15), medium (X39), two low (X45 X55) were selected to study effect different cadmium levels (0, 5, 10 mg·kg-1 Cd) on enrichment, transport, accumulation as well its subcellular distribution chemical form. Based results, 5 inhibited shoot dry weights four but increased root X15, X45, X55 varieties. Sodium chloride-bound acetate-bound main forms in fruits. Subcellular concentrations roots, leaves, fruits plants ranked order cytoplasm > cell wall organelle, stems was organelle. compartmentalization plays an important role resistance stress. Under dosages Cd, leaves X39 X15 with fruit X45. The concentration lowest roots whereas this has highest fruit. stems, among lower than variety. depends transport capacity redistribution ability shoots.
