ABSTRACT
Assessment and monitoring of the quality ecological environment in area is a very important fundamental task development civilization Xiaojiang River Basin Yunnan Province, which serves as demonstration for restoration upper reaches Yangtze River. The Landsat remote sensing images from 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022 were chosen, four indexes greenness (NDMVI), humidity (WET), dryness (NDBSI), heat (LST) extracted. index (RSEI) was created using principal component analysis method, then spatial temporal patterns trends between 1990 examined GEE platform, ArcGIS 10.7 Python combining methods geographic information mapping, coefficient variation, Mann-Kendall trend test, Sen's slope estimation, Hurst's index. findings demonstrated that: ① study had more obvious differentiation spatially, by 2022, areas with excellent good grades primarily distributed better alpine vegetation cover, those poor mudslide ravines relatively low terrain. On time scale, area's RSEI increased 0.41 to 0.55 fluctuating overall improvement an average increase 0.048(10 a)
